Tera Melos premiere new video, announce Fall tour dates

Tera Melos return to the road this Fall supporting new label mates Boris for much of their North American tour, as well as a separate leg of shows supporting Melt Banana. Many more dates will be announced soon (including NYC). Please see the current schedule below.

Tera Melos premiere MP3 from forthcoming EP, Co-headlining tour with Marnie Stern Feb-March

Sacramento genre-benders Tera Melos premiere a new song today from the forthcoming 6-song EP Zoo Weather and deluxe digital edition of their recently released Patagonian Rats album (both via Sargent House). The track, Manar The Magic features a spoken cameo by Mike Watt and is posted courtesy of RCRD LBL HERE.

Tera Melos also announced co-headlining US tour dates with guitar goddess Marnie Stern launching in February. Please see full dates below.

Zoo Weather will be available on February 22nd, 2011 on cassette and digital download. The EP features 3 new songs and 3 remixed tracks (including a remix by Japanese noise legends Melt Banana). All tracks from Zoo Weather plus two additional songs (a total of 20) will also be available the same day as part of the deluxe digital package for the band’s recent full-length, Patagonian Rats.

Patagonian Rats landed on many Best of 2010 lists, as well as receiving raves from Wired.com, Exclaim!, ALARM Press, Impose and Exploding In Sound. Tera Melos launch November tour with Maps & Atlases

Sacramento genre-benders Tera Melos launched US tour dates this week supporting Chicago’s acclaimed musical morphologists Maps & Atlases in November, followed by a handful of headlining dates. Tera Melos recently wrapped up a US headlining tour before immediately launching a 3-week tour in Asia with Mike Watt and the Missing Men. The band barely had a moment’s breath before launching the current trek with Maps & Atlases.
