Peter Wolf Crier have spent most of 2010 performing with a pantheon of talent including Rogue Wave, Midlake, Dawes, Vetiver, and Freelance Whales. Starting January 10th Peter Wolf Crier will follow in the footsteps of Lewis & Clark and head out west to the coast and back again. Co-headlining this tour will be Sub Pop recording artists Retribution Gospel Choir featuring Alan Sparhawk and other members from Low. This will be Peter Wolf Crier’s first tour of the West Coast since the release of their debut album Inter-Be.
Besides touring, Peter Wolf Crier’s Brian Moen and Peter Pisano have been busy gents. There’s a brand new session with Daytrotter. Peter Wolf Crier have again partnered with the film crew at Northern Outpost, producing a stunning new video for “Down Down Down.” You can also hear a new cover of Nick Drake’s “Place To Be” true to the original but with a more modern twist by Peter Wolf Crier.
“Inter-Be is the record they made together, and it’s a perfect debut, but seeing them live is my favorite way to take in this fervent, inspired music”- BOB BOILEN, NPR
“Pisano sings in a rangy falsetto. His songwriting is ragged, understated, and striking above all else. Moen’s textural contributions are just as subtle. Though Inter-Be sounds roughly hewn at times, it’s an album woven together with great care and a sharp ear for detail.”- PITCHFORK
“it’s music that reaffirms you, that steadies you in your skin and in your bones- music that can heal you once and for all.”- DAYTROTTER
